President’s Message..

The most awaited moment of my life was when I sworn in as the President of one of the prestigious body of the Plastic Surgeons; "Central India Association of Plastic Surgeons, Nagpur" in July 2022.

From that day my strong urge to establish a platform for the Plastic Surgeons of Central India to come together for the propagation of our faculty and create awareness amongst the masses caught momentum.
I strongly perceived my thinking in that direction and 6 months of hard work shaped my dream into reality on 2 nd April 2023 when a first public awareness program aimed at educating the masses about this little understood branch ie Plastic Surgery.
A large gathering of more than 350 people witenessed the magic, myth and the facts about Plastic Surgery and it's 20 subspecialties in the august presence of Dr Ravin Thatte who is the teacher of the teachers and professor and HOD of Nair hospital, Mumbai; Dr Uday Bhat.

The duo enlightened everyone around with their unique style of teaching, impressive speeches and methodical presentations.

Also was a huge post program response from the print and electronic media who quoted about it in all leading newspapers and TV channels.

Also during my tenure we have registered the CIAPS body and gave full membership to 28 members and distributed the certificates and receipts during the awareness program.

I also started a website in the name of www.ciapsnagpur.com and made the domain live and accessible to general public. In my remaining tenure too I aim to facilitate continuous medical education for Plastic Surgeons of Central India through multiple CMEs on different topics.

I will also see to it that there develops a rapport of brotherhood amongst all of us. I am deeply indebted to all of you who have supported me, promoted me and helped me achieve my goals as the President of the association.
